Altern Energy Limited was incorporated in Pakistan on 17 January 1995 and is listed on the Pakistan Stock Exchange. The Company operates as a subsidiary of Descon Engineering Limited and is engaged in the generation and supply of electric power to the Water and Power Development Authority of Pakistan.
Commercial operations commenced on 06 June 2001. The Company operates a thermal power plant with a gross capacity of 32 Megawatts, supporting national energy requirements through reliable and efficient power generation.
